The Friday Crew

4-12 Year Olds

Full Day Program

Is your child needing an enriching experience to supplement their learning journey? Do they need space to express themselves and explore their creativity outside of the confines of 4 walls? Does your child need a healthy balance of structure and freedom? Does your child need to connect with peers who share their interests and adults who understand their needs?

This program is designed to provide children with enriching outdoor learning/exploration experiences. We focus on bringing an awareness to their emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health. We explore important topics like connection, healthy and calculated risk taking, empathy, self-awareness, confidence building, independence, and fun! We aim to integrate their curiosities about the world around them and provide the space for expansive imagination and creativity through outdoor explorations and teachings. As this is a multi-age program, there is also a great opportunity for leadership, accountability, mentorship, and building trust.

  • So very grateful to have this opportunity for my children to learn and grow in this environment!! The connections made between the teacher and our children is so special, she truly takes the time to get to KNOW them and develop programming around individual needs welcoming parental involvement ❤️ Many other programs and systems we have tried to put our children into have resulted in unbelievable struggles but with this one…our children countdown the sleeps until they can go again ❤️ Thank you for all you do to make being wild a beautiful thing 🙏

  • My child has always struggled to learn in a busy classroom environment. He loves attending Wild Things Forest where he can relax in nature, observe, and learn through play, observation, art, movement and socialization. He comes home feeling confident, expressing kindness and radiating with joy and excitement. He is a very happy and fulfilled child after a day at Wild Things.

  • Both of my children (5 and 4) have experienced Wild Things Forest and cried when they had to leave. The beautiful, heated indoor dome is packed full of nature-inspired learning resources. The dome is surrounded by acres of land that the kids got to explore and the teacher, Lauren, is incredibly knowledgeable about the forest and all it has to offer. In a short amount of time, they learned about the sap in the trees, animal tracks in the snow, the chickadees visiting the trees surrounding the dome, and they even found an elk jaw! I can’t recommend this amazing space enough and my kids can’t wait to go back!
